![]() Make sure there are separate Meat Feeders and Water Areas - while carnivores of different species will live together, larger predators will panic smaller ones and may chase them away from food or water, which will decrease their comfort - and they may try to break out!.So don't put a Velociraptor in with a Deinonychus, or a T-Rex in with a Spinosaurus or Ceratosaurus. No Same Size Carnivores! - Most carnivores will tolerate members of their own species (apart from the biggest), but do not pair them with any carnivores their own size or they will continually fight until they die.A medium herbivore for example is a Triceratops or an Anklosaurus, and a large herbivore is a Brachiosaurus - who stays pretty safe as it's just too big. We wouldn't suggest doing this, though, as some of the medium herbivores have no defence against predators. Medium or Large Herbivores > Small Carnivores - they'll threaten each other, but otherwise will tolerate each other.Small Herbivores > No Carnivores - small herbivores such as Gallimimus or Archaeornithomimus live peacefully with other herbivores, and work well in herds, but do not put them with any size of carnivore or they'll end up as lunch!.All herbivores will mix with each other - be warned though that they all have different needs, so a paddock that works for Triceratops will not work for Brachiosaurs. Here's our general guide to what dinosaurs will tolerate each other, but bear in mind this is not a record of every animal's social needs, nor is it what population will be tolerated - we're talking about dinosaur mixing only, and which dinosaurs can mix with each other. They’re not worth anything else.Jurassic World Evolution - What Dinosaurs Can Live Together Guide At this point, it’s usually just the minimum for the variety bonus. The only dinosaurs from this group that I ever breed are Edmontosaurus and Styracosaurus. Very Expensive (More than $7.0k / rating) Dinosaur Chungkingosaurus is the only one worth building more than one of, and that’s primarily because they mesh so well with Huayangosaurus and they are available relatively early. Many of these dinosaurs come a bit too late in the game to make much impact. Expensive ($6.0k – $7.0k / rating) Dinosaur I only ever release them at the very end of the game.īrachiosaurus are expensive, but they’re such big point gainers that I usually put five of them (their max social) into my sauropod pen. I’ve had issues with them getting upset when I accidentally fill their cages too much.ĭeinonychus suffers from being the worst of the three small carnivores. Max social is only six and max population is only 16. ![]() They’re a bit more finicky than other early-game dinos, however. Slightly Expensive ($5.5k – $6.0k / rating) Dinosaur Ceratosaurus is the one I spam 3-per-pen in all small carnivore pens other than the Baryonx pen.Ĭamarasaurus is like a slightly worse, more finicky version of Diplodocus. Diplodocus, one of my efficiency favorites, is almost spammable given their high (for a sauropod) social max (8), their relative contentment, and their high point value.īaryonx is usually my second and final large carnivore. Average ($5.0k – $5.5k / rating) Dinosaur ![]() If only Chasmosaurus was available earlier on it’s the only one I don’t use with great frequency. Follow my rules on keeping small carnivores content and you’ll be fine. You should already know my early-game love for Struthiomimus, but the strongest overall dinosaur for Challenge Mode is the Dilophosaurus. Dirt Cheap (less than $4.5k / rating) Di nosaur This table assumes that each possible attack and defense slot is loaded with Aggressive Instincts 1.0 as that is the most cost efficiency mod in the game. Here is a table of dinosaur cost efficiency.
